"Gazzetta dello Sport" wrote that the 33-year-old Italian, who is currently a free agent, has not received any tempting offers and intends to announce an unexpected decision on Thursday.
C.Marchisio decided not to waste time on insignificant contracts and also took into account his history of injuries.
The player plans to dive into business projects and may also become a coach in the future.
