Coach L. Enrique - "Barcelona" management ultimatum

The sword of Damocles hangs over the head of the head coach of the Catalan club, Luis Enrique.

According to the radio station "Cadena Cope", almost all of the Barcelona footballers are in favor of the current strategist being dismissed or stepping down from his current duties.

It is said that the current leadership of Barcelona has given the head coach an ultimatum: to drastically improve the team's performance in the next two matches - the King's Cup match against "Elche" and the Spanish championship match against Madrid's Atletico. If this is not achieved and there are no signs of at least minimal improvement in the team's atmosphere, Luis Enrique's services may be dispensed with.

Another radio station, "Onda Cero", announces on air that one Barcelona footballer has openly stated that "Luis Enrique is the worst of all coaches during my career. He simply does not know what he is doing."

Not coincidentally, all eyes are on Lionel Messi. Some conflicts between the Argentine and the coach have been discussed before, but the new conflict could have been sparked by Luis Enrique's decision to leave L. Messi on the bench during the match against Real Sociedad. The forward did appear in the second half, but neither he nor Neymar managed to turn the tide of the game in favor of Barcelona.

According to sources from "Cadena Cope", the current head coach is also not trusted by the vast majority of the Board of Directors. Some of its members are even inclined to persuade President Josep Maria Bartomeu to hold early elections for the leadership of the Catalan club this summer.

Barcelona has already announced that J. M. Bartomeu will hold a press conference on Wednesday.

It is said that due to disagreements with Luis Enrique, the former long-time team captain Carles Puyol has decided to leave the club, having worked as an assistant to the sports director for the past three and a half months.
