On Sunday, the last three matches of the 15th round of the German "Bundesliga" championship were played.
"Koln" hosted "Freiburg" at home. "Koln" was very close to their first victory, but the visitors created a real sensation and overturned a three-goal deficit to secure the win.
For the players of "Koln", who are in last place, the match started very successfully from the beginning - they took the lead in the 8th minute, and the score was already 2-0 by the 16th minute of the match. The victory seemed even more convincing when the opponents scored an own goal in the 29th minute, and the hosts had already built up a three-goal lead.
However, "Freiburg" showed true character - in the 39th minute, Nils Peterson reduced the deficit. In the second half, the visitors created even more drama - by the 65th minute, the score was already 2-3.
The end of the match unfolded unexpectedly, with two penalty kicks being awarded. N. Peterson became the true hero of the visitors' team - the forward converted both penalty kicks, and "Freiburg" sealed the win with a score of 4-3.
The goals of "Koln" fans may have appeared not by chance - snowfall covered the city all day, and the players of both teams played on a snow-covered pitch.
The remaining matches ended with a victory for "Hannover" against "Hoffenheim" and a draw between "Augsburg" and Berlin's "Hertha".
