Worst news confirmed - the body of Emiliano Sala was recovered from the sunken plane.
The 28-year-old footballer tragically died on the night of January 21st, when the plane carrying him to Cardiff crashed into the ocean and was only found a week later.
Investigators on Thursday began an operation during which one body was recovered from the bottom of the ocean from the sunken plane.
It is known that E. Sala was flown to Cardiff by pilot David Ibbotson, but his body was not found in the plane, so the search continues.
This year E. Sala was supposed to play for the "Cardiff City" team, but the Argentinean never played a single match for this team.
The 28-year-old man played for the "Bordeaux", "Crato", "Orleans", "Niort", "Caen" and "Nantes" clubs. Throughout his career, he played 236 matches and scored 95 goals.
