On Sunday, four matches of the 13th round of the "La Liga" championship were played in Spain.
The most intriguing game took place at the "Mestalla" stadium, where "Valencia" hosted "Barcelona" at home. After a very tough match, the winner was not determined - the teams shared a point each.
In the first half, the visitors from Catalonia completely dominated the field. In the 30th minute of the match, the first goal was supposed to be scored, but the referee team made a big mistake.
Lionel Messi took a strong shot, the goalkeeper deflected the ball, but soon after he lost control of it and it crossed the goal line, however, the sideline referee did not notice it and the result remained 0-0.
"Barca" started protesting this decision, but during the same attack, they were almost punished with a goal against them.
In the second half, "Valencia" was much more aggressive and created a real hell in their stadium. In the 60th minute, the first goal of the match finally fell, which sent almost the entire "Mestalla" stadium into euphoria.
After a great pass from Jose Gaya, Rodrigo kicked the ball into the opponent's net. "Barcelona" tried to equalize after missing the goal, but "Valencia" remained very dangerous.
However, for the first time this season, the hosts of "Barcelona" were not forced to lose - after a wonderful pass from Lionel Messi, Jordi Alba scored the equalizing goal in the 82nd minute.
"Barcelona" firmly remains in the first position with 35 points, while "Valencia" maintains the same four-point gap. Madrid teams managed to reduce the gap from the leader to eight points after the weekend.
In an earlier match in La Coruna, "Deportivo" had a productive draw with Bilbao "Athletic". The same result ended the match in San Sebastian, where "Real Sociedad" unfortunately let the victory slip out of their hands against "Las Palmas".
Another football drama was created by the players of "Sevilla", who, away against "Villarreal", erased a two-goal deficit and expanded the victory to 3-2.
"Villarreal" gained a two-goal advantage in the 53rd minute, but "Sevilla" once again showed the mentality of winners - goals from Lengleto, Franco Vazquez, and Ever Banega brought a great victory.
