Confrontationally met with "Milan" fans S. Pioli: "Criticism pushes me forward"

Experiencing a real crisis at the beginning of the season, "Milan" brought winds of change to the team.

On Tuesday, head coach Marco Giampaolo was dismissed from his duties and officially replaced by Stefano Pioli today. "Milan" fans no longer wanted to see M. Giampaolo in the team, but they were even more outraged by S. Pioli's arrival.

Yesterday, before an official announcement about the new coach had even appeared, "#PioliOut" was among the most discussed topics on Twitter in Italy.

Such a cold reception from the fans did not deter the experienced strategist.

"I arrived here with great enthusiasm and passion. I am convinced that together we can achieve many good things," S. Pioli said at a press conference.

"I respect the fans, and they have every right to criticize me. I think it will give me additional motivation. In the next 10 days, we will work closely with the players both psychologically and physically.

My playing idea is based on intensity and total dedication on the field. Giampaolo is a great coach, but our ideas are different.

In this team, we have quite a few high-class players. I want this group of players to play football they could enjoy themselves. I try to adapt to the players so that they can improve individually," shared the former coaches of "Inter" and "Fiorentina" clubs.
