Conte's disqualification reduced to 4 months © EuroFootball.com

The Italian Arbitration Sports Tribunal (TNAS) has decided to reduce the disqualification of the head coach of Turin, Antonio Conte, from 10 to 4 months.

Last summer the Italian was found guilty of not reporting illegal betting activities while working at the "Siena" club during the 2010-2011 season.

He was given a ten-month disqualification for this, which prevents him from coaching the team during matches, but he can still work in training sessions. Since the beginning of the season, the strategist has been replaced during matches by Massimo Carrera.

Conte's lawyers appealed to the TNAS court with the goal of completely revoking the punishment, but the final decision was to reduce the punishment to four months.

The former "Old Lady" captain's disqualification is in effect until December 8th, so he will be able to lead the team in the 16th round of the Italian "Serie A" championship against the "Palermo" footballers on December 9th.
