On Sunday, a match took place in the "Premier" league between teams that competed closely for the championship title last season.

"Arsenal" defeated "Manchester City" in a dramatic battle with a score of 1:0.

The match was not marked by many chances, but controversy arose. In the 29th minute, Mateo Kovacic committed a serious foul against Martin Odegaard. The offense was similar to a red card episode, but both the referee and VAR decided to stick with a simple warning.

Shortly after, the Croatian committed another foul against Declan Rice, but once again he avoided a booking.

At the beginning of the second half, Rico Lewis sent the ball towards the goal, but the referee blew the whistle a bit earlier and "Man City" did not break through.

The winning goal came at the very end of the match. In the 86th minute, Gabriel Martinelli expanded the victory for the "Arsenal" team with a header.

After this victory, Mikel Arteta's players equaled points with "Tottenham", but the white city neighbors remain in the first place of the "Premier" league. "Manchester City" - third.
