Rising star of Madrid's "Atletico" club Koke once again denied rumors of a possible departure this summer.
The 22-year-old midfielder, who had a great season, attracted a lot of attention from big European clubs. "Barcelona" showed active interest in the football player.
However, the Spaniard himself denies the possibility of leaving the "Vicente Calderon" stadium and assures that he will stay with "Atletico". Koke has a contract with "Rojiblancos" valid until 2018.
"My future is at "Atletico" club. I am happy here, I have a long-term contract and I don't think about leaving," he said.
"My thoughts now are with the Spanish national team in Brazil. Winning this tournament and playing even a few minutes is my dream, but a lot depends on the coach. I joined this team that has taught me a lot, especially players like Xavi and Iniesta,” the Spaniard confirmed.
Spain's national team will start in the tournament in Brazil today, with the group B match taking place on Friday at 22:00 Lithuanian time, where the final of the 2010 World Cup between Vicente del Bosque's players and the Dutch will be repeated.
