Coronavirus claims the life of "Leeds United" legend

Legendary English footballer Norman Hunter, 76, could not overcome the coronavirus, lrytas.lt reported.

It is reported that the "Leeds United" legend was hospitalized on April 10, when he first felt the symptoms of the virus. After testing, it was revealed that he was suffering from coronavirus.

N. Hunter won the World Cup with the England national team in 1966.

He ended his football career in 1982, leaving the most significant mark in the "Leeds United" club - 726 matches.

He also worked as a coach for ten years.
