Court decision regarding A. Johnson's sexual relations with a minor postponed

"Sunderland" striker Adam Johnson's appeal in Peterlee Magistrates' Court was successful and the case of sex with a minor has been postponed until next month. The 27-year-old footballer was charged last month with three counts of having sexual relations with a 15-year-old and grooming her. Johnson is now released on bail and must appear in Durham court on June 3rd. The former "Manchester City" and "Middlesbrough" player was arrested for the mentioned crimes back in March. Immediately after the initial charges, his current club suspended him, but he was later allowed to return to training. Johnson played in the last few matches out of seven."
