"Barcelona" defender Carles Puyol announced that he will leave the Spanish champions team at the end of the season.
Due to a knee injury, he only played in 12 matches this season.
The 35-year-old footballer spent his entire career in the Catalan team. He made his debut for "Barcelona" in 1999.
C. Puyol was a key figure not only in the "Barcelona" team but also in the Spanish national team. In 2010, he helped the Spaniards win the World Cup.
