Croatian national team yesterday returned to Zagreb - the team led by Zlatko Dalić achieved a historic accomplishment in the World Cup. As soon as the Croatian footballers disembarked from the plane, they were greeted with a grand ceremony. Later, the players headed to the city center, where they were enthusiastically welcomed by tens of thousands of football fans. In the heart of the city, the players expressed their gratitude to the fans and sang songs together. Croatia reached the final in the World Cup and after a fierce battle, they had to admit France's superiority with a score of 4:2. However, Croatia did not feel defeated after the loss - the players and the country felt that they had given their maximum. For Croatia, this was the highest achievement in the history of this tournament.
