The Croatian national team announced that defender Marko Pjaca suffered a shinbone fracture and will not be able to play against Kosovo and Finland national teams.
There were fears that the Juventus player would be out of action for at least six weeks.
However, the 21-year-old footballer, upon returning to Italy, received better news.
"Pjaca underwent further tests and his leg was examined. It was determined that it was just a bruised area and no signs of a fracture were found," - the Serie A champions club reported.
In the coming days, a more precise forecast for the player's return to the field is expected to be announced.
Last summer, the Croatian, who cost Juventus 23 million euros, has so far played 7 matches for his new team.
