The history of the "Juventus" team could have unfolded in a completely different way if not for the fateful decision of Cristiano Ronaldo in 2003.
The 32-year-old football star revealed to "Sky Sports" that during that time period, he was offered contracts by the most famous clubs in the Old Continent and it was certainly not easy for the striker to make a decision.
"Of course, the main actor was my agent Jorge Mendes, who indicated the further path of my career. I remember talking to representatives of "Juventus" and I was happy because it's an incredible team.
Of course, contracts were offered by Madrid's "Real", "Man Utd" and many other teams. However, the best conditions were offered to me by the representatives of Manchester, and I, still being a child, always dreamed of testing my skills in the Premier League, which I liked more than Serie A.
"Man Utd" gave me the opportunity and I wanted to thank coach Alex Ferguson, and of course, J. Mendes, who helped me to get there," Ronaldo said.
