During the UEFA Awards ceremony and the Champions League draw in Monte Carlo, the focus was on Real Madrid leader Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 32-year-old Portuguese was recognized as the best player of the past season, leaving Lionel Messi and Gianluigi Buffon behind.
He also became the first player in the tournament to score one hundred goals.
When asked by the event's host which goal he would remember the most, C. Ronaldo turned to Buffon sitting next to him and smiling, said:
"The last one, scored on this old man!"
