Madrid's "Real" leader Cristiano Ronaldo failed to fulfill his dream - to debut in a famous director's film.
It is reported that the current owner of the "Golden Ball" was seriously considered among the candidates to play in Martin Scorsese's creation "Manipulator".
However, the Portuguese's hopes to shine in a worldwide film were shattered when he received a negative response.
"We apologize, Ronaldo, for removing the football player from the list of potential actors, but in life you have to accept defeats.
The film will be based on the real life of impresario Alessandro Proto and if this man does not want to see Ronaldo in the movie, it will not cause me any additional problems," said director Scorsese.
