C.Ronaldo took to rescuing Portugal drowning in fires

Portuguese people faced a tragedy. The country is experiencing hot weather and in most places, the temperature doesn't drop below 35 degrees Celsius during the day. This has led to large fires in several areas. One of them - in the outskirts of the city of Funchal on the island of Madeira, where three people have already died. Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo could not remain indifferent and immediately offered his help. The striker directly contacted a local government representative and informed them that he is donating money to help extinguish the fires. The European champion wrote on social media: "I sadly watch what is happening on the island of Madeira and in other parts of the country. I wanted to wish you strength and thank the firefighters who show their courage and risk their lives to save others. I am with you!"
