After returning from vacation to Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo hopes to receive pleasant news.
Recently triumphing at the European Championship, the 31-year-old Portuguese started thinking about a new contract with the royal club.
"I spoke on the phone with president Florentino Perez and when I join the team again, we will continue talks. I aim for a new contract," said C. Ronaldo.
"Last season was the best in my career. I won two important titles - both for my club and my country," said the forward.
Current C. Ronaldo's contract is valid until 2018.
