This weekend, the football world was shocked by a particularly brutal incident in youth football, lrytas.lt reported.
It happened during the official African U-17 Championship match.
At the end of the match between the national teams of Burundi and Tanzania, the captain of the latter team, Morice Abraham, received a pass on the left side of the field.
After technically dribbling the ball past an opponent, he was repaid for this by a brutal blow to the neck as retaliation for humiliating the opponent.
