Crying after historical match M. Pochettino: "My players are heroes"

London's "Tottenham" club - in euphoria: after a sensational victory in Amsterdam, the "Spurs" footballers made history and will compete in the UEFA Champions League final for the first time.

Almost at the last moment on Wednesday evening, "Tottenham" took away the ticket to the final from the "Ajax" team in Amsterdam. "Ajax" led 2-0 at halftime, but the visitors from London responded with three precise shots, one of which was scored in the final seconds of added time.

"The emotions are incomparable. Thank you football - such emotions without football are simply impossible. Thank you to everyone who believed in us. It's hard to describe this moment in words," said coach Mauricio Pochettino immediately after the match.

"I can dedicate these victories to my family, to the people who support us in the toughest moments. All my players are heroes, and Lucas Moura is a superhero," Pochettino later continued the interview, even shedding tears.

"Leading this team to the final is like a miracle. No one believed in us at the beginning of the season. We will end this season by playing in the final. If we win, it will be simply an incredible story. Over the last five years, we have tried to extract the absolute maximum from the players. I have learned the saying "through suffering to the stars". When you think about what we have achieved, you realize that it was worth it," added the Argentine.

"Tottenham" will fight for the most important trophy in the club's history on June 1. They will face another English team - "Liverpool."
