"CSKA" continues to scatter points © EuroFootball.com

On Saturday, the first two matches of the 13th round of the Russian Premier League were played in Perm and Moscow, where the defending champions "CSKA" lost points once again, while the other Moscow club "Spartak" ended their streak of draws and secured a victory.

The first match featured players from Perm's "Amkar" and Moscow's "Spartak". After three consecutive draws and statements about fighting for the title, "Spartak" had to take action, but things started the opposite way - "Amkar" started pressing their opponents and creating attacks, and in the 15th minute they were awarded a penalty kick from the penalty box line, but they did not take advantage of this great opportunity. This penalty seemed to awaken "Spartak" players to take more decisive actions.

Immediately after this moment, the visitors started their attacks and at one point, Argentine forward Fernando Cavenaghi had a chance to score, but even though he missed, the first goal was scored with the help of F. Cavenaghi - he made a pass and defender V. Bystrov shot the ball between the goalkeeper's legs into the goal.

"Spartak" did not have much time to celebrate the lead, as after five minutes, a controversial penalty was awarded against them, where the hosts' player deceived the Moscow goalkeeper, and the score became equal, but the visitors did not lose focus. Two minutes later, V. Bystrov outplayed two home team players and sent the ball towards the goal, where Ukrainian international player M.Kalinichenko scored the second goal for his team. Before the break, the visitors had another great opportunity, but they failed to capitalize on it.

In the second half, the game completely changed. "Amkar" attacked, but without success, and "Spartak" played defensively and scored a great third goal on a counterattack. The match ended with a score of 1-3 in favor of the visitors.

In the second match in Moscow, the bottom team "Torpedo" faced the champions "CSKA". The match started with active actions from "Torpedo" and in the 21st minute, "CSKA" goalkeeper I. Akinfeev conceded a bizarre goal from Sergei Budylino. However, "CSKA" did not give up and quickly equalized with a goal from Milos Krasic. After this goal, "CSKA" wanted to completely dominate the opponent and managed to score a goal, but it was disallowed for an offside.

After the break, "CSKA" continued to press their opponents, but gradually the game evened out. Both teams had attacks towards the opponents' goal. It seemed like the game had calmed down completely and some substitutions were made, after which David Semberas appeared on the field.

After these substitutions, goals started again. First, "Torpedo" players scored - Liubomir Kantonistovas, but they did not have much time to celebrate, as "CSKA" player Elvir Rahimic managed to equalize. In the last minutes, "CSKA" had another dangerous opportunity to score, but the opponents' goalkeeper played excellently.

The match ended in a 2-2 draw. "Torpedo" temporarily left the relegation zone, while "CSKA" lost points for the fourth consecutive match and allowed "Spartak" to catch up. Five matches will be played on Sunday, and the only and final match of the round will take place on Monday.
