One of the leaders of Moscow's CSKA, Keisuke Honda, stated that he would like to leave the Russian club as soon as possible.
"I have spent three and a half years here, but the time has come to move to a famous team. CSKA knows about AC Milan's interest and my desire to leave," said Honda.
"Will the transfer ultimately happen? You should ask my brother, who deals with those matters. It would be a great honor for me to wear the jersey of an Italian club," said the attacking midfielder.
The Japanese player's contract with the Russian team expires in December.
