London club star Carlos Tevez admitted he still does not know where he will play next season.
For the Argentine, who has been demonstrating good athletic form in the second part of the season, Sunday's away match against might be the last hesitating between still being among the contenders to drop into the lower league team's shirts.
"I stopped learning English because I don't know where I will continue my career next season," Tevez told the "Times" newspaper.
"West Ham" will secure their place among the strongest if they manage to win at least a point in Manchester. If, however, Alan Curbishley's disciples stumble against the new national champions, they would be saved by a "Sheffield" victory or a draw in a duel with "Wigan."
Recently, there have been reports in the press that Tevez would like to be invited to join a plethora of the strongest Premier League and other European countries' teams.
The player himself admitted that life far from home in a completely different cultural country is not easy.
"It was tough to settle in. A big problem is the language barrier, and if I stay in this league, I'll have to learn to speak English," Tevez said.
"The football style here is also very different from Argentine or Brazilian. In my opinion, this is the toughest league in the world. That's why so many good players couldn't establish themselves here.
"After every weekend match, you get several bruises on your body and return with bruises. Defenders are strong individually, so they defend roughly and harshly.
"Referees also allow a lot and don't stop the game as often as elsewhere. But you know what? I don't care about that at all, because I become a better and stronger player."
