Currently representing the club, Italian Christian Vieri was chosen as the worst player of this season's "Serie A" by the listeners of Italy's Rai radio show "Catersport" on Tuesday.
In the survey, Vieri gathered 2992 votes and even surpassed by three times the newcomer Santiago Solari from the other Milan team who was in second place.
Vieri moved to "Milan" this summer, leaving the "Inter" club where he was pushed out of the starting lineup unable to compete with the striking duo of Adriano and Obafemi Martins. However, things did not go much better for him at "Milan", where he scored only two goals in 12 matches, and currently is the third striker in the club behind Andriy Shevchenko and Alberto Gilardino.
In previous years, this award has been won by defender Rivaldo from Brazil, who was representing the same "Milan" club at that time.
