The investment group 1890s holdings and Czech billionaire Daniel Kretinsky officially joined the "West Ham United" club. Czech billionaire D. Kretinsky purchased 27 percent of the club's shares and joined the club's board, which currently includes David Sullivan, David Gold, and Karren Brady. Another Czech, Pavel Horsky, also joined the board of the "West Ham" club. Currently, D. Kretinsky also owns and manages the Prague "Sparta" club, which plays in the European Conference League. Club vice-president K. Brady commented: "On behalf of the board, I am very pleased to welcome Daniel Kretinsky, Pavel Horsky, and (investment group) 1890s holdings to the West Ham club." D. Kretinsky's wealth is worth 4 billion US dollars.
