Czech national team and European Championship quarterfinals may have to do without their brightest star Tomas Rosicky.
London's Arsenal midfielder missed the last Group A match against Poland due to an Achilles tendon injury, and it is unclear if he will recover in time for the next game.
"Rosicky is irreplaceable, but I don't know if we will have him in the quarterfinals," said coach Michal Bilek. "The medics did everything, but we couldn't include him in the starting lineup against Poland. Nevertheless, Daniel Kolar played a great game."
The Czechs became the second team in the history of the European Championships to top the group even after conceding five goals.
