Dele Alli moved to Everton in the final hours of the January transfer window, under the management of Frank Lampard. Speaking to Sky Sports, D. Alli revealed that conversations with the new Toffees boss prompted him to make the move to Liverpool.
"I am extremely happy. A little tired after a hectic day, but in the end, I can rejoice in completing the deal. I had several productive conversations with Frank Lampard. He was one of my idols when I played football. I am looking forward to the opportunity to work with him. I just want to enjoy playing football. It will be a great opportunity for me to prove to people that I can still be useful to the team," said D. Alli.
The 25-year-old Englishman signed a contract with Everton until 2024.
