D. Alli: "Tottenham" can beat anyone

Despite the defeat suffered yesterday against "Monaco", London's "Tottenham" defender Dele Alli believes that "Spurs" in the UEFA Champions League can defeat any opponent.

Mauricio Pochettino's proteges at "Wembley" stadium were forced to admit the opponents' advantage with a score of 2-1.

The victory for the French was brought by goals from Bernardo Silva and Thomas Lemar, while Toby Alderweireld stood out in the English team.

"We consider ourselves favorites against anyone," Alli said. "We are a confident team and we expect to win matches regardless of who we are up against. In the first part of the match against 'Monaco', we were disappointed in ourselves."

"We must ensure our improvement and victory in the next matches. Usually, after a failure, we rise, so it is important to do so on Sunday against 'Sunderland'. We must learn from 'Monaco' and carry it over to other encounters."

The next Champions League match for "Tottenham" awaits on September 27 against Moscow's CSKA.
