Former "Barcelona" defender Dani Alves admitted that he and his teammates enjoyed playing against the "Arsenal" team, and the reason he named was the dominance of the Catalans over the "Gunners".
Speaking to FourFourTwo, when asked about the English team they enjoyed playing against the most, the Brazilian did not hesitate to give his answer.
"We really enjoyed facing the 'Arsenal' team. They played a similar style of play to ours, which usually made our matches easier. We faced this team several times and always won. It was a team we dominated and had complete control over. Every time we played against 'Arsenal' club, we played well and achieved good results," - said the defender.
These teams faced each other two years in a row in the Champions League knockout stage in 2010-2011, and the last time they met was in the 2015-2016 season. Throughout these matchups, the "Arsenal" club failed to advance to the next stage.
