Former "Manchester United" defender David Beckham is confident that the "Red Devils" will have to wait as long for the "Premier" league title as Liverpool.
The Manchester team last triumphed in England in 2012, when it was still led by Sir Alex Ferguson.
Meanwhile, the Merseyside club has failed to become country champions for 25 years - the long-time team captain Steven Gerrard does not have a gold medal in his collection.
"I can't imagine that happening," Beckham said, comparing "Man United" and "Liverpool". "I never think that we won't fight for trophies. Of course, it's very important to stay focused, but the foundation of this club is too strong for success to turn away from it like that."
Currently, the "Red Devils" are in third place in the "Premier" league.
