Madriddo "Real" defender Dani Carvajal believes that his teammate Cristiano Ronaldo once again proved over the weekend that he is the best player in the world.
If the result of 6-0 in the Spanish championship match against "Espanyol" wasn't so unusual for the "royal club" on Saturday, many football fans were amazed by the impressive performance of the Portuguese - he scored 5 goals.
The 30-year-old forward did not stand out in the first two matches of the season, but in the third one he definitely silenced his critics.
"Everyone who plays football knows that scoring five goals is not easy. This league is the strongest in the world, and Cristiano once again proved to be the best player in the world," Carvajal said.
Ronaldo has been officially recognized as the world's best player for the past two years - he was awarded the "Ballon d'Or" for his contributions in 2013 and 2014.
