"The Athletic" announces that the 27-year-old Englishman has attracted interest from London's "Arsenal" team, which may have to look for a replacement for the departing Dani Ceballos.
It is reported that the Spaniard would like to return to his homeland, and the leaders of the "gunners" may soon contact J. Lingard's agent Mino Raiola.
The "Man Utd" academy graduate lost the trust of the head coach this season and although he played 35 matches, he scored only 2 goals and made the same amount of assists during them.
Current contract of J. Lingard with "Man Utd" is valid until the summer of 2021, and there is also a possibility to extend this term for another season.
