London "Chelsea" sniper Diego Costa says that the players are to blame for the poor start of the "aristocrats" season.
At the moment, the "Blues" are in the twelfth place in the Premier League, and in the UEFA Champions League Group G, they are behind "Porto" and Kiev's "Dynamo."
The team's coach Jose Mourinho received the most criticism for the poor performance, but according to the Spanish national team striker, the coach is not to blame for this situation.
"I think we, the players, should be blamed," Costa told Soccer AM.
"As I have said before, we came back too relaxed, thinking that we would win everything again like last season."
"In my opinion, other teams have strengthened, and we need to take another step forward considering both the quality of our game and our team efforts."
The sniper, talking about his aggressive playing style, also added that aggression is part of football.
