David De Gea feels much more appreciated by "Manchester United" fans than by the fans of the Spanish national team.
The impressive goalkeeper has saved "the Red Devils" more than once this season, but his fellow countrymen do not show him such great admiration.
The situation might change if he represented his home country's club - for years he has been interested in the Spanish "La Liga" champion, Real Madrid.
"In England, I feel a great connection and respect, which I don't notice as much here," De Gea said.
"However, every time I come to the national team, I feel admiration inside, and that is the most important thing."
In the upcoming World Cup, De Gea will undoubtedly be the main goalkeeper for Spain.
