French national team coach Didier Deschamps does not rule out the possibility of inviting Hatem Ben Arfa to the team playing in the 2016 European Championship.
The former "Newcastle United" winger is performing well this season with "Nice", scoring seven goals in the first ten "Ligue 1" matches.
Ben Arfa himself said he wants to return to the national team. He may do so in the upcoming French friendly matches against Germany and England.
When asked about inviting Ben Arfa, Deschamps replied, "Why not? My decision will be made next week based on his performances with 'Nice'."
The winger has not represented his country since "Euro 2012", and his career in the Premier League has not been very successful either.
Deschamps also added that past disagreements, when they both worked at "Marseille" club, will not affect their future relationship.
