D. Deschamps remembered working in the "Serie B" league

French national team coach Didier Deschamps basked in the glory - last year his team became world champions. However, the specialist also had to work in completely different conditions - for example, trying to bring the Turin team "Juventus" from the "Serie B" league. This happened in 2006, when after the "Calciopoli" scandal, stars like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Patrick Vieira, and Fabio Cannavaro left the club. "To coach Juventus was like an adventure in sports. I was very attached to the team and it was the only season when the team played in the 'Serie B' league. We played against small teams, but it was still pleasant to triumph in the championship," Deschamps said. "Juventus gave me a lot as a player and that's why it was important to give something back - which led to the club's return to the 'Serie A' league."
