Danny Drinkwater has decided to tie his future with "Leicester City" club.
It is announced on the official "Foxes" website that the 26-year-old midfielder has agreed to sign a new five-year contract, valid until 2021.
Recently, there have been reports in the media that D. Drinkwater was considering the possibility of leaving, and he was not satisfied with the salary offered by the "Foxes" for the new contract. It seems that any contract issues have been resolved and the Englishman will continue to wear the blue jersey.
"I enjoy playing for this club. This team is perfect for my career and I want to spend many more years here. I can't imagine being as happy anywhere else as I am here," said D. Drinkwater.
"Leicester City" midfielder joined the team back in 2012. In total, Drinkwater played 177 matches and scored 13 goals for Leicester.
