One of the leaders of the Uruguayan national team, Diego Godin, may soon change teams.
"La Stampa" reports that the 32-year-old veteran is one step away from moving to the Turin club "Juventus."
The Madrid "Atletico" player agrees to accept the Italians' offer of 12 million euros over three years, but the "La Liga" team is not giving up and has presented a new contract.
Current D.Godin's contract with "Atletico" will end next summer.
Nevertheless, "Juventus" will have to dig deep into their pockets and pay 20 million euros for the athlete. That is the exact amount written in the player's contract with the Madrid club.
In the Spanish capital, D.Godin has been playing since 2010, in the past, he has also played for the "Villarreal," "Nacional," and "Cerro" teams.
