Former "Liverpool" defender Dietmar Hamann has no doubt about the talent of Roberto Firmino and believes that in the future the Brazilian will become a star of the "Reds".
The 24-year-old footballer moved from "Hoffenheim" to "Liverpool" last summer for a substantial sum of money. Firmino showcased his abilities in the weekend matches against "Manchester City".
"I have spoken to people who have worked with Firmino and I know that he is very talented," said D. Hamann. "He is a different type of player compared to Coutinho, so I am convinced that he can play in the 'False 9' position or as a center forward".
"He has a unique touch on the ball and is mentally strong. Sometimes people question whether Brazilians and other South Americans are physically able to compete in the Premier League, but Firmino is more of a European or German style footballer," added the 42-year-old former "Liverpool" defender.
R. Firmino has played 14 matches this season and scored one goal.
