"Wolfsburg" strategist Dieter Hecking says that team leader Kevin De Bruyne remains focused on playing in Germany and does not want to be sold to "Manchester City."
The 24-year-old attacking midfielder has been a subject of interest from the Premier League club all summer and recently made a 63 million euro offer according to various sources.
"Bundesliga" club's sporting director Klaus Allofs revealed earlier this week that the "Citizens" have caught the attention of the Belgian, but according to the coach, De Bruyne still shows loyalty to "Wolfsburg."
"We did not receive an offer for him," - Hecking told Sport Bild. "It doesn't seem like Kevin wants to leave 'Wolfsburg.' He gives his all in training."
"He is an important part of my plans. I am convinced that he will be an even better player in the future."
However, the strategist also acknowledged that the club is prepared to cope with the loss of its leader. In that case, other players would have a chance.
