"Liverpool" forward Danny Ings suffered another painful injury, which will prevent him from playing for the rest of the season.
The 24-year-old player injured his right knee ligament during an EFL Cup match against London's "Tottenham" and has been under the club's medical supervision since then.
Tests conducted on Monday revealed that the Englishman will need surgery, followed by a rehabilitation period lasting from seven to nine months.
Ings will undergo surgery by specialist Andy Williams, who helped London's "Arsenal" forward Danny Welbeck with the same issue.
These news are particularly painful, as the player had recently completed rehabilitation after tearing his left knee cruciate ligaments.
