The brightest ray of light for the "Red Devils" unexpectedly became Daniel James, who arrived from the "Swansea" team for just over 15 million pounds before the season, and has already scored three goals.
The 21-year-old, giving an interview to the official club website, revealed that he is ready to play in the forward position if needed.
"When I was in the "Swansea" team, most of the time I played on the left side, but sometimes I had to play in the attack center or on the right side. It is very important to maintain versatility, because you never know what certain situations may demand from you.
"Perhaps all of our forwards will be injured and I will have to take their place, so I must be ready to play in all three positions. I really enjoy playing on the left side, where I can make passes or break into the penalty area. However, now that I have scored a few goals, defenders will be better prepared to stop me, so I must surprise them in some way," said D. James.
