Having played two seasons in the "Žalgiris" team, Donatas Kazlauskas chose the "Šiauliai" team as the next step in his career.

After last season, D. Kazlauskas became a free agent and had the opportunity to freely choose another club.

The footballer had played in the "Žalgiris" team in 2012 and returned to the team from the beginning of 2022.

During the two seasons in the attacking line, he played a total of 78 matches and scored 14 goals.

In September and October 2022, he contributed four goals to the team's winning streak, after which "Žalgiris" secured the champions' title.

Together with the team, he also became a cup winner and qualified for the UEFA Conference League group stage tournament.

In the European competitions, D. Kazlauskas' equalizing goal in the summer of 2023 stands out in the match against Istanbul's "Galatasaray".
