Legend of Dutch football Dirk Kuyt officially confirmed his retirement.
The 36-year-old striker wore the jersey of his beloved "Feyenoord" team in his final season as a football player and won the long-awaited title of the Dutch championship.
"All my dreams have come true," said D. Kuyt about the end of his career, highlighting his triumph in the "Eredivisie" championship with "Feyenoord."
The football veteran still showed his class this season - in 39 matches he scored 15 goals and made 7 assists.
Throughout his career, D. Kuyt also wore the jerseys of "Fenerbahce," "Liverpool," "Ultrecht," and "Quick Boys."
The most notable period of his career was at the "Liverpool" club. There, D. Kuyt played 286 matches, scored 71 goals, and once won the English League Cup.
In total, throughout his career, the Dutchman played 798 matches and scored 295 goals.
