"Liverpool" after 11 years will compete again for the most important club title - Jurgen Klopp's disciples defeated "Roma" in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals and advanced to the final.
"The Reds" showed great results in Europe this season - their loss in Rome was just the first failure in the tournament for them. "Liverpool" also improved their scoring record, but in order to realize their dream, the English club will still have to work hard - in the final they will face Madrid's "Real", who have won the tournament three times in the last four years.
"Liverpool" defender Dejan Lovren said that J. Klopp has changed the face of the team, and they are not afraid of the current champions in the final.
"He has changed a lot of things in the club. Not only players' attitude has changed, but also the whole club's mentality. With him, we see a lot of positive things - even when we don't play the best matches," - the defender praised the coach.
When asked about the chances in the final, D. Lovren said: "Real" is very confident, but we don't care because we will go to do our job. Why should we be afraid of them? They should be afraid of us."
"Liverpool" and "Real" will clash for the main tournament trophy on May 26th in Kyiv.
