Legendary Argentine footballer Diego Maradona responded to Dani Alves's criticism and called him a fool.
Recently, one of the best defenders in the world, D. Alves, tried to compare D. Maradona and L. Messi, stating that "Barcelona's" attacking advantage is shown by the "Golden Balls" which D. Maradona could not achieve. The Brazilian also stated that the legendary Argentine won the world championship unfairly when he scored the scandalous handball goal.
"Dani Alves is a fool - a man who has the ball three or four times and commits more than eight fouls during a match. Also, how could I win the 'Golden Ball' when it was only awarded to Europeans?" - D. Maradona said to "TyCSports".
"Alves is always in the spotlight when his team can't play good football," said the 56-year-old Argentine.
Even the head coach of the Argentine national team, Jorge Sampaoli, stumbled upon Maradona's criticism: "I am very angry with him. Calling up Icardi instead of Aguero to the national team is something incomprehensible. Sampaoli knows nothing more about football than Bauza. I will tell him that."
