D. Maradona: Icardi is a traitor and will pay for it

Legendary Diego Maradona admits that Inter Milan's captain Mauro Icardi will become a great player, but considers him a traitor.

Former coach of the Argentine national team formed this opinion after the highly publicized divorce of Maxi Lopez and the country's TV star Wanda Nara, a divorce in which the Inter sniper played a significant role.

Icardi seduced Lopez's wife while being teammates in Genoa's Sampdoria, which led to him receiving a not-so-friendly label.

"Icardi is a traitor," Maradona told Canale 5. "He will be a great footballer, but Batistuta deserves ten of him."

"You can't have dinner with your teammates and then marry your friend's wife."

"He will pay for what he did to Maxi Lopez."

Icardi has been in impressive form this season, scoring 15 goals and providing 8 assists in 22 Serie A matches.
