„West Ham United“ head coach David Moyes, along with team players I. Diop and J. Cullen, were forced to leave the London Stadium and return home. All three of them were diagnosed with coronavirus just before the match against the "Hull" team on Tuesday evening. The club released a statement confirming that both team players and the coach tested positive for the coronavirus. However, it was announced that the players were tested again shortly afterwards and those who had come into contact with other team members did not test positive.

Interim coach Alan Irvine took over the team's coaching position temporarily. This is not the first case of coronavirus in English cup matches. On Tuesday evening, the match between London "Tottenham" and "Leyton Orient" was also canceled.

Nevertheless, the "West Ham" team, without two key players, achieved an easy victory. The London team won 5:1 against the "Hull" footballers.
