Former "Man Utd" coach David Moyes enviously follows the current team's actions in the player market, where outrageous amounts of money are being spent on new recruits.
Having been expected to succeed the legendary Alex Ferguson in the 2013/14 season, Moyes lasted just eight months before being dismissed.
Indeed, Moyes attempted to strengthen the team with world-class footballers, but for various reasons, he was unable to do so.
Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, and Toni Kroos were on the specialist's radar.
"We had an agreement with the German and his agent that he would arrive in the summer," stated the coach.
However, Kroos later changed his mind and stayed at "Bayern".
More than initially offered by Madrid's "Real" was proposed for "Tottenham" forward G.Bale.
He was my first target, and I fought for him until the last minute. However, Gareth was thinking about "Real" club.
Moyes talked about C.Ronaldo:
"When I first spoke with A.Ferguson, he mentioned that there was a chance to bring back the forward, so we targeted him."
